'Godspell' Reprise
One more chance to see 'Godspell' at JCCC — free
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Students in Johnson County Community College's music and theatre department will perform a reprise of Godspell at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, in Yardley Hall of the Carlsen Center. Admission is free, and seating is first-come, first-served.
JCCC students performed Godspell as part of their 2010 fall season. They have been invited to perform the musical at the Region 5, Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Ames, Iowa, on Jan. 20. The Yardley Hall performance is an opportunity for the 14 cast members and six band members to ready for the festival and an opportunity for audiences to enjoy this updated version of Stephen Schwartz's 1976 Broadway classic.
