OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Fashion merchandising and design students at Johnson County Community College will walk us out of the winter doldrums and down the fashion runway into spring during their annual fashion show, Flaunt, at noon and 7 p.m. Friday, March 4, in Polsky Theatre of the Carlsen Center, Johnson County Community College.
The entire fashion show features original works by student designers — from sports to street to evening wear. Approximately 45 minutes in length, both shows are open to the public.
Tickets are $5 for students (students from any school) and JCCC employees and $8 for the general public (in advance) and $10 (at the door). Groups are welcome. To charge tickets by phone, call the Carlsen Center box office, 913-469-4445. A portion of the proceeds will support fashion merchandising and design scholarships.
For more information, email Joan McCrillis-Lafferty, chair, JCCC fashion merchandising and design department, .
