Section 321: Student Health

The college does not provide on-campus medical services, nor does it assume responsibility for injuries incurred by students while participating in college activities. Medical services are readily available at local clinics and hospitals.

A medical examination may be required for admission or continuation in an activity to meet certification or eligibility guidelines.

Due to the potential spread of various communicable diseases, the vice president of Student Services may require a physician's statement of health be submitted once a student has contracted and has been treated for a communicable disease.

The college does not provide health and accident insurance for students. Students must contract for this type of coverage on an individual basis.
