Section 428: Tobacco-Free Campus
The college policies provide for a tobacco-free learning environment. Tobacco use is prohibited in any college building or facility except in the outdoor designated areas.
Although not encouraged, tobacco use is permitted in the individual’s automobile. However, cigarette butts, smokeless tobacco and/or any other types of tobacco waste must be disposed of inside the vehicle.
Any violation of this policy can be fined by the JCCC Police Department, see JCCC Procedure 428.01 – Procedures for Tobacco-Free Campus.
