Changes to coverage and benefits are determined by the board of trustees and could change at their discretion. All college employees are required to participate in KPERS and contribute to Social Security. Programs providing maintenance of physical and mental health include confidential counseling and referral services. Free parking and tuition reimbursement are benefits for family members of full-time regular employees. Accrued time for vacation, sick leave (sick leave bank/assistance) and holidays, death or illness of family members, maternity and adoption leave, short- and long-term disability leave and other terms of absence are reviewed and maintained by the Office of Human Resources.
