Continuing Education

Get ready to roll

Whether you want to learn the rumba or master search engine optimization, chances are Johnson County Community College has a continuing education class that will suit you to a T.

Have a teen who’s ready to get behind the wheel? JCCC offers a high quality driver education program that includes both classroom and driving time. A dozen sessions with an instructor licensed by the state of Kansas will leave your young driver ready to hit the road.

Maybe you’re interested in maximizing sustainability in your business. Consider enrolling in the Sustainable Business Leadership Certificate program offered through the Center for Business and Technology. The classes examine corporate social responsibility, sustainable business operations strategies and developing a sustainability plan for your business.

Is working on the Web your thing? Seven classes are new this fall at the JCCC Center for Business. They cover topics from advanced pHp and MySQL to HTML5 and jQuery, as well as developing and designing mobile websites. The basics are covered, too, in HTML basics and HTML and CSS advanced classes.

Registration opened July 5 for fall classes and continues throughout the term. You can register online, or by phone, mail or in person. In some cases, if you register for three classes in a single transaction, you can save 15 percent on the total.
