Learn animation at JCCC

Learn to create animation, 3D models and special effects for movies and games through JCCC's animation program.

Students can earn an associate of applied science degree in animation. The 66-credit-hour program provides instruction for creating animation, 3D modeling and special effects for applications such as animated shorts, movies and games, as well as rendering 3D environments. Students who complete the animation program could find work as an animator, a game art creator, a 3D visual artist, and/or a special-effects artist.

Examples of games, animations and music created by JCCC students and faculty in the game development, animation, interactive media and electronic music programs are online.
