Professionals in information technology, human resources and financial services may now obtain licensures and certifications at JCCC's newly certified Pearson VUE Testing Center. Housed in the Regnier Center on campus, the testing center is staffed with friendly proctors and assistants who are ready to help you relax and succeed in passing specific industry-oriented tests that are required for some job markets.

"The main reason we became a Pearson Vue Testing Center was to take advantage of specific technical vendors such as Adobe, Cisco, Vmware, and Oracle," said Debbie Rulo, program director, Computer Training and Development, Center for Business and Technology, JCCC.

JCCC is proud to be affiliated with Pearson VUE, as it boasts the world's leading test center network with more than 5,000 test centers in 165 countries, 230 of which are fully-owned and -operated Pearson Professional Centers. Pearson Professional Centers use a patent-winning design, which was created specifically for high-stakes testing and offers a carefully controlled, consistent testing environment.

Open during the day, evening and on weekends, JCCC's testing center caters to business professionals with tight schedules, and it's centrally located in the county.

"For students who are taking credit classes and also want to become certified, it's a nice fit. It's just a few doors down from their classrooms," said Rulo.
