How far would you travel to find a better life?
From 1892 to 1924, Ellis Island was America's largest and most active immigration station, where over 12 million immigrants were processed. Follow the story of families' trials, heartbreak and triumphs. Their stories will evoke in your students an understanding that we are truly a nation of immigrants. "Ellis, Island of Dreams" book and lyrics by Debra Clinton. Music and additional lyrics by Jason Marks.
