About this performance
A Celebration of Woody Guthrie's 100th Birthday
7 p.m. Yardley Hall
Arlo Guthrie was born with a guitar in one hand and a harmonica in the other, the eldest son of America’s most beloved singer/writer/philosopher Woody Guthrie.
He’ll return to the Yardley Hall stage to celebrate Woody’s 100th birthday and honor his father’s memory and career by performing tunes from a long list of favorites, which may include "This Land is Your Land," "900 Miles."
In addition to his accomplishments as a musician, playing the piano, six and 12-string guitar, harmonica and a dozen other instruments, Arlo is a natural-born storyteller, whose tales and anecdotes figure prominently in his performances.
