About this performance
8 p.m. Yardley Hall
We regret that Ashley Wheater, artistic director of the Joffrey Ballet, is unable to present the pre-talk on April 2 at Johnson County Community College, due to a death of a friend close to the company.
He will remain in Chicago to attend the funeral.
In his place, Ms. Charthel Arthur, ballet mistress, will discuss the program to be performed when the Joffrey Ballet appears in Yardley Hall.
The talk starts at 7 p.m. in the Polsky Theatre, Carlsen Center. The Joffrey Ballet performance time is 8 p.m.
One of the most revered and recognizable arts organizations in America and one of the top ballet companies in the world, The Joffrey Ballet expresses a unique, inclusive perspective on dance, reflecting the diversity of America with its company and audiences.
Classically trained to the highest standards, its repertoire includes major story ballets, reconstructions of masterpieces and contemporary works.
