The annual Jazz Winterlude Festival offers an education component with its mission to explore, present, promote and perpetuate the historical legacy of jazz.

This year members of the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Ensemble along with renowned Kansas City jazz musicians will enrich the students’ and community’s understanding of this unique American treasure.

The education component features the Louis Armstrong curriculum.
