Jazz Winterlude once again!

Join us on Jan. 24 and 25, 2014.

Jazz Winterlude is back in 2014 with an impressive professional performance schedule, clinics and coaching for school bands and some new surprises to  anticipate.

We'll have 10 local bands and two internationally recognized artists with their groups: percussionist and educator Terri Lyne Carrington and trumpeter Arturo Sandoval. Both Carrington and Sandoval are part of the 2013-14 Performing Arts Series lineup.

New this year is a segment featuring world music. Listeners will be introduced to music from different parts of the globe performed by professional musicians who have devoted energy, and often travel to distant areas, to mastering new music.

Students participating in the Friday school band clinics will study, not only with accomplished area educators, but also with Terri Lyne Carrington. They will have the opportunity to attend all performance sessions as a part of their clinic registration.
