Colloquia
The Johnson County Community College Mathematics Colloquia consist of a series of lectures by various local and invited speakers on mathematical topics of general interest, usually at a pre-calculus or beginning calculus level. They were begun in March, 1993, primarily due to the vision and energy of Elise Fischer, professor of mathematics at JCCC. They are generally held several times each year.
