Study Abroad

Studying abroad is one of the most exciting and enriching opportunities you'll have while you're in college.

You'll be amazed at how much you'll learn about yourself, the world and the subjects that you're studying while you explore another culture.

In today's global economy, studying abroad is becoming essential to success in many different professions.

Through JCCC's study abroad programs, you can receive college credit while studying in any one of more than 30 countries for a summer, semester or a year.

Programs are offered in:

  • Europe
  • Asia
  • Latin America
  • Africa
  • Australia

In addition to studying the country's language, you'll take other courses taught in English.

All of our study abroad programs require that you have a cumulative 2.5 GPA. A few programs require a 3.0.

Plus, you must have taken at least one college semester of the language of the country where you are going (if JCCC offers a course in that language).

You must be at least 18 years old.

Some programs have additional requirements.

Why Study Abroad?

JCCC Student in Africa

"I have fallen in love with West Africa and I think Africa in general. I now know that I could work and live a very simple life in the developing world. I really didn't know what to expect coming out but I have learned so much."

JCCC Student Studying in Greece

"I learned so much more about life, people, and myself in Greece than I ever have at home. It was wonderful, the best experience."
