Pending Permanent Resident, Asylum and Refugee are defined as applicants who:

• Hold lawful asylum status in the U.S.
• Hold lawful refugee status in the U.S
• Pending permanent residents defined as those who have already filed an I-485 Application for Adjustment of Status to Permanent Resident with the USCIS.
  • Those who have not yet filed an I-485 are not considered pending permanent residents for the purpose of admission and resident tuition, by Johnson County Community College.

Undocumented Applicant Admission Instructions

Undocumented is defined as applicants who do not possess a lawful U.S. immigration status.
