Students who are working toward completing the honors program are encouraged to study abroad. The experience is credited with broadening horizons, shifting perspectives and changing lives. Studying abroad fulfills one of the optional requirements to graduate from the honors program. Students may spend a semester or a minimum of three weeks abroad. Additionally, students may arrange for a special honors contract to be completed during their time abroad. Arrangements for the contract must be made prior to leaving JCCC and coordinated with the Honors office.
