Cavalier Film Festival Planned for April 17

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College will have its Cavalier Film Festival from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the Craig Community Auditorium of the General Education Building.

The festival features films by JCCC and Johnson County high school students in the following categories:

• Music video (6 minutes or less)

• Shorts (10-15 minutes)

• Shorts (9 minutes or less)

• Experimental/Animation (6 minutes or less)

• Documentary (15 minutes or less)

Prizes are awarded to the top three winners in each category with one grand prize to the overall festival winner and an award for the people’s choice. Entries are judged by professionals in the Greater Kansas City film community.
