| Carlsen Center 2007-2008 Season Announced | ||||||||||
| OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Charles Rogers, artistic director, the Carlsen Center for the Performing Arts, Johnson County Community College, has announced the Center’s 2007-2008 season, which features a world premiere by the Paul Taylor Dance Company and two commissions – a piano concerto by Roberto Sierra to be performed by pianist Ian Hobson with Sinfonia da Camera and a violin sonata by Jennifer Higdon written for Jennifer Koh. Conductor/violinist Andrew Manze returns, this year with the Scandinavia’s Helsingborg Symphony.
