Annual Halloween Family Concert at JCCC

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – A free annual Halloween Family Concert Fest will begin with a reception and activities for children at 2 p.m., a stage parade at 3 p.m. and concert immediately following on Sunday, Oct. 30, in Yardley Hall of the Carlsen Center at Johnson County Community College.

  • 2 p.m.     Reception will include free face painting by the Zonta International Clowns, free balloon animals by Alan Goodheart, cookies and punch.
  • 3 p.m.     Children in costume will parade across the Yardley Hall stage with narrations by Julie Bilyea.
  • Following parade    Concert features the Overland Park Orchestra conducted by James Funkhouser and back, by popular demand, Michelle Wyeth’s dancers.

The  Halloween Family Concert Fest is free and open to the public; no tickets or reservations required. The event is co-sponsored by the JCCC Brown & Gold Club, Overland Park Art Commission, Overland Park Orchestra and Overland Park Arts Ambassadors.
