JCCC Names New Director of Health and Human Services

Landers, who has a doctorate of human science degree from Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center, San Francisco, is also a registered nurse and has more than 20 years of experience in health care. She earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Los Angeles City College, a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, Dominique Hills, and a master’s degree in political science from Wichita State University. Landers previously owned Life Strategies Coaching Firm, Wichita, and was named the 2003 National Leadership Award Honorary Chair of the Business Advisory Council by the National Republican Congressional Committee. She is a member of the Kansas Psychological Association, Minority Business Development Center and Chamber of Commerce of Wichita. Landers has presented at numerous seminars on issues of health care, executive training, life strategies, relationships and communication skills. She is the author of Unlocking the Door Between the Mind, Body & Spirit; Journaling Away Your Fears; and Journey to Relaxation. At JCCC, Landers will be responsible for high-quality continuing education opportunities for health professionals including seminars, computer-based instruction, independent study programs, online courses and contract training. |
