JCCC’s Liz Casey Named NJCAA Goalie of the Week
    
Liz Casey OVERLAND PARK, KS -- Liz Casey, goalkeeper for the  Johnson County Community College women’s soccer team, is the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Goalie of the Week for Sept. 11-17.

Casey led Johnson County to a 2-0-1 record last week that included shutout wins over Neosho County (4-0) and Southwestern Illinois (2-0) and a shutout tie against Iowa Western (0-0). Against Neosho she played 45 minutes, collecting three saves in three shots on goal. In the game against Iowa Western Casey played 120 minutes and saved all eight shots on goal. In the Southwestern Illinois shutout she played 90 minutes and was perfect with 10 saves in 10 shots on goal. Casey has 5.5 shutouts on the season and is 6-0-1 overall.
