  • Build deposits in the relationship account before you need to make a withdrawal.
  • The more you give, the more you receive – always give 100 percent

Carlsen has served as president of JCCC since January 1981. During that time, enrollment has tripled, 12 new buildings and three parking structures have been constructed, and an innovative technology and business building and contemporary art museum are currently under construction. Carlsen was named by a University of Texas study as one of the nation’s leaders in the community college movement. He also was named the outstanding community college president who best promotes the community college mission by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. In 2003, under Carlsen’s leadership, JCCC received the Kansas Award for Excellence.

Dunn was elected mayor of Leawood in 1997.  In her years as mayor, Leawood has experienced a period of growth and economic development unprecedented in its history.  In addition to her mayoral duties, Dunn is involved in many nonprofit organizations in Kansas City as a board chair or committee person.

Regnier, after 18 years with the Boatmen’s banking organization, organized and developed investors for the Bank of Blue Valley in 1989. Since then, its total assets have grown to more than $600 million. In addition to his corporate and business skills, Regnier has a long record of civic involvement, serving or heading the boards of organizations throughout the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area.

This series of educational presentations is underwritten by the Norman & Elaine Polsky Family Supporting Foundation within the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City with Johnson County Community College. The series includes a number of topics, which are not now being offered in a formal academic program. Each event is free and open to senior citizens, students and the general public. Refreshments and networking are offered one-half hour before and after programs.
