JCCC to Host Youth Programming Conference
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – In a joint partnership, Johnson County Community College and Tulsa Community College will be hosting the 2008 Youth Programming Conference “Developing Successful Youth Programs from A to Z” on Thursday-Friday, Sept. 11-12. The conference will be held at the Regnier Center on the JCCC campus.
The purpose of this conference is to bring together people who develop and implement youth programming nationwide. This conference will provide developers of youth programming with ideas, strategies for success related to marketing and promotion, follow-up feedback, and comprehensive services related to the development and implementation of successful youth programming.
Professionals from across the country will address such topics as initiating summer day camps and youth enrichment programs, marketing, funding and community participation.
