Alice Coote Cancels at Carlsen Center 

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Alice Coote, mezzo-soprano, who was scheduled to perform Schubert’s Winterreise at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in the Carlsen Center for the Performing Arts, Johnson County Community College, has canceled her performance due to illness.   

“She is very sorry to be missing the opportunity to sing on your series, and we hope to be able to work with you to bring her to the Carlsen Center at some future time,” said Romana Jaroff, Coote’s agent with IMG Artists, New York.

The concert does not have a rescheduled date. Ticket holders, please contact the Carlsen Center box office at 913-469-4445, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
