JCCC Celebrates Black History Month

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. ­— Johnson County Community College will celebrate Black History Month with Overcoming Obstacles at noon Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the Craig Community Auditorium on the second floor of the General Education Building. This event is free and open to the public. 

In Overcoming Obstacles, Carmaletta Williams, JCCC’s executive assistant to the president, diversity initiatives, will give an inspiring lecture on African Americans who
have overcome obstacles to the benefit of the race and the country.
