JCCC Signs Two Sprinters

JCCC Signs Two Sprinters OVERLAND PARK, KS -- Johnson County Community College track and field head coach Joe Weis announced that Gabrielle Gibson and Trinayai Allen of Hickman Mills High School have signed letters of intent for the 2006-07 academic year.

Gibson, an All-State performer in the 200-meter as a junior, has posted time of 8.05 in the 60-meters, 12.21 in the 100-meters and 25.11 in the 200-meters. She also has a hand time of 11.8 in the 100-meters.

Allen, a long sprinter who specializes in the 400-meters, has recorded a split time of 58 seconds running a leg on the 4x400-meter relay.

Both are expected to be key additions to JCCC’s sprint corps next season.
