JCCC sets DMR record at Mule Relays

OVERLAND PARK, KS -- The Johnson County Community College distance medley relay team established a new school record while competing at the Central Missouri State Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Mo.  The team of sophomore Jackie Jamison, sophomore Leslie Reynolds, freshman Samantha Parr and freshman Christa Heideman, finished with a time of 12:43.18.  That time breaks the previous record 12:43.79 set two years ago at the NJCAA Indoor National Championships.

Their effort also earned them a win the event, defeating Northwest Missouri, Cowley, MidAmerica Nazarene, Park, Central Arkansas, Butler and William Jewell
