Cavaliers cap regular season with shutout over Allen County

OVERLAND PARK, KS --  The Johnson County Community College men’s soccer team concluded the regular season portion of its schedule yesterday with a 2-0 shutout over Allen County.  The win improved JCCC to 7-8-5 on the season.

The Cavaliers scored both goals early in contest.  Sophomore Jason Jacob, the team’s leading scorer, gave JCCC a 1-0 lead just 1:47 seconds into the match.  Sophomore Shane Shadfar provided the assist.

Shadfar made it 2-0 just over six minutes laser, hitting the back of the net from 18-yards out on an assist from sophomore Matt Iverson.
