JCCC Men Harriers Second at Maple Leaf Invitational 

OVERLAND PARK, KS -- The Johnson County Community College men’s cross country team posted a runner-up finish at the 2005 Baker University Maple Leaf Invitational, Sept. 3, in Baldwin City, Kan.  The Cavaliers scored 52 points, 11 more than Emporia State.  There were 11 teams in the field.  

Five Cavaliers placed in the top 20.  Leading the way was freshman Kory Cool, who placed sixth and finished the 5k course in 16:27.38. Sophomore Alan Kroll followed with an 11th-place finish, crossing the finish line in 16:59.14.

Also in the top 20 were Chris Adams (16th - 17:12.41), Blake Koger (18th - 17:17.81) and Paul Barrett (19th - 17:19.69).
