Schwab Selected NJCAA D-II Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, KS -- Johnson County Community College sophomore guard Bethany Schwab (Kansas City Christian High School/Wellsville, Kan.)  is the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week.

Schwab led Johnson County with 2-0 record at the Hoop-N-Surf Classic in Honolulu last week. In a win over Wisconsin-Marathon County she had nine points and seven assists. In the following game she set a new single-game record at Johnson County with nine three pointers (9-of-10). In that game she had 29 points, four rebounds and five assists. Schwab, an all-tournament selection last weekend, is shooting .460 from three-point this season.
