JCCC loses two heartbreakers to No.  8 Cowley

Johnson County had a tough day in the field giving up two leads in the seventh inning.  In game one, Kyle Crandall threw five shutout innings before turning it over to closer Justin Miller in the sixth.  Miller took the Cavaliers into the seventh inning with a 2-0 lead.  Three consecutive errors by the Cavaliers gave Cowley just enough outs to push three runs across for the come from behind win.  Miller led the offensive attack by going 2-for-4 in the game.

In game two, Cowley jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first.  Walks and clutch hitting by Doug Otto tied the game in the second inning at 4-4.  Michael Bilicki shutdown the Tigers for four innings, allowing the Cavaliers to take a one run lead into the seventh.  A lead off walk followed by two consecutive errors by the Cavaliers gave the Tigers enough life to score the two runs they needed to come from behind again.  Brad Lewandowski was 2-for-4 in the game and Chris Dobler was 1-for-2.
