Cavaliers Continue to Roll

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. -- Johnson County Community College headed south to take on Northeast Texas Community College in a single nine inning game on Friday, Feb. 22.

The Cavaliers continued to roll beating Northeast Texas, 7-2. Dustin Holthaus put on an impressive display in his first start of the 2008 campaign. He pitched six innings, with six strikeouts, one walk, six hits, and while giving up only one earned run.

The offense seemed to enjoy the warm weather as seven out of nine players had two hits or more during the game. Chad Griffin hit his first home run of the season and Parker Amos drove in two runs while going 2-for-4.
