Eligibility:	Recipient must be a single parent that shows financial need with custody or shares joint custody. The Gingrich Family Scholarship application is required. Students should submit a one-page narrative of their educational and professional goals, and how these are impacted by being a single parent. Students are encouraged to provide one letter of reference from an academic professional, or volunteer contact. Address the reference letter to Chris Christensen, Director of Financial Aid, JCCC, 12345 College Blvd., Box 50, Overland Park, KS 66210-1299 Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Must be enrolled in 6 or more credit hours at JCCC. Recipient must be degree seeking.
Deadline:	October 1 for awarding for the spring and following fall semester. If the 1st falls when the college is closed, the application is due the next open working day.
