Section 419: Employee Benefits
An employee is expected to vote before or after working hours. If this is
not possible, the employee may request from the immediate supervisor
needed time off not to exceed two (2) hours. Such request must be made at
least one (1) day before the election, and the immediate supervisor may
specify the hours.
If an employee serves as an election judge, pollwatcher, or official, paid
or unpaid, on any election day, the college will grant time off without
compensation as long as the employee notifies the immediate supervisor in
advance of the absence.
