Scholarship Application Information

Note: Some criteria, amounts and deadlines are subject to change. If a scholarship covers books, they must be purchased from the JCCC bookstore.

JCCC General Scholarship List

General scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors and to new or continuing JCCC students who are enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher. The JCCC scholarship application, JCCC admission application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are required.

If the FAFSA is not complete, the application will not be considered for an award.

April 1st is the "priority deadline". All applications received after April 1st will be considered depending on funds available.

Department/Program Scholarship List

Department scholarships are awarded based on specific department requirements and selection criteria. Each scholarship varies in the amount awarded, deadline and contact information.

Restricted Scholarships

Restricted scholarships are awarded based on specific requirements determined by the donor and require the JCCC scholarship application. JCCC admission application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Additional Scholarships

Additional scholarships are awarded based on specific criteria and selection process. Some of these scholarships require a separate application and/or narrative in order to be considered for the award. Deadlines, amounts, and contacts vary by scholarship.
