Students who score into RDG 124 or RDG 125 on the Compass Place Test must complete the sequence of courses in consecutive semesters through RDG 126, receive a recommendation for a waiver from the reading instructors, or score appropriately on the Compass Placement Test. Recommendations for waivers will be sent to the appropriate assistant dean. Students who wish to drop a required reading course must drop all other courses in which they are enrolled or receive permission from the director of Student Development to drop only the required course.
