Faculty members teaching career program courses must maintain competency records for each student, regardless of the manner of delivery. Faculty teaching non-career program courses no longer need to maintain competency records for distance learning, telecourse, independent study, self-paced, and course by arrangement classes.

Student competencies records must include:
Student name
Student ID#
Instructors name
Class #
Course Title
Division
Semester
Clearly identified competencies
Completion date
Instructor’s initials
