The role of the Admissions Office at Johnson County Community College is to assist you through the admission process. This is the beginning of our relationship. We are interested in getting to know you as a person and answering any questions you might have.

Apply for Admission

Transcripts are typically needed if you are a JCCC degree or certificate seeking student, and/or are applying for federal financial aid through JCCC.  Click here for more information.  Have your previous undergraduate institution send official transcripts to the Admissions Office at the following address:

JCCC accepts Electronic Certified PDF Transcripts from the University of Kansas.  Transcripts must be sent directly from KU's Registrar office to jcccadmissions@jccc.edu to be official. Transcripts emailed from other accounts are not accepted.

Testing Services

Administration of assessment tests for all students enrolled in credit courses. The center administers standardized tests such as the ACT, CLEP, GED and others.

Student Success Center

Professional staff is available to answer questions and assist with access and use of all resources and services available at JCCC. New student orientation is offered through this office.

Student Services

Provides leadership in the development and implementation of comprehensive services and programs serving students and Johnson County community members.

Student Handbook

Information regarding policies and procedures for students including Student Code of Conduct.

Veterans

Assists current and future JCCC veteran students and dependents.

College.gov

This site was designed by students for students and features first-person accounts of students who overcame challenges to going to college such as peer pressure, lack of family support, and financial barriers. It provides relevant, comprehensive information about why to go, how to go, and how to pay for college or other postsecondary education programs. Young people who may not have considered higher education a viable option will be engaged, informed, and inspired to create their own "roadmap" to college.
