Horticulture Brochure Image JCCC’s 29-credit-hour horticulture certificate program is designed to prepare students for a career in the “greening industry.” Students who complete the program will be ready for entry-level or higher positions in landscape design and maintenance, lawn care, garden centers and nurseries, wholesale greenhouse growers, greenhouse operations and other related occupations.

The JCCC 31-credit-hour Landscape Technician Certificate Program is designed to prepare students for a career as a landscape technician.  Students who complete this certificate will be prepared for entry-level or higher position as a landscape technician.

The JCCC Horticulture Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and job skills for employement in the green industry.

JCCC has a 2+2 articulation agreement with Kansas State University. Our transfer curriculum provides students with solid skills and comprehensive courses in the green industry. The curriculum allows students to confidently enter the next level of professional education.
