With five full-time faculty, and about twice that many part-time credit instructors, we offer over 200 sections each year of Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and Marriage and Family, as well as more specialized courses in social welfare, social work, aging, intercultural applications, and Chinese society. Our offices are in OCB 261, CLB 428, and GEB 151. We provide a good introduction and survey of the discipline while enriching students' understanding of social life through the diverse sociological perspectives of our faculty. Credits transfer readily to four-year programs, where many of our students go on to major in Sociology.
