A survey of JCCC employees designed by the strategic planning subcommittee on civic responsibility and conducted by the college’s office of Institutional Research produced the following results:

  • 989 respondents (out of 2452 distributed) for a 40.3% response rate
     
  • Importance of individual involvement in the community
    o Very important 64.1%
    o Somewhat important 30.3
    o Neutral 4.9
     
  • Importance of JCCC involvement in our community and setting an example of community engagement
    o Very important 52.1%

  • Causes JCCC faculty and staff are likely to support (25% response and higher)
