Nelly Don: A Stitch in Time

Nelly Don, the Kansas City fashion designer who by 1947 had built the largest dress factory in the world, has had her story captured by Terrance O’Malley. He will discuss her amazing and colorful life that was intertwined with the history of Kansas City. Mr. O’Malley has a master’s degree in radio, television and film from KU. He has worked as a TV reporter and a press secretary and now practices law in Kansas City. Questions will be entertained afterwards. His Nelly Don: A Stitch in Time book and DVD will be for sale.

Which plan is right for you? A member from Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services, a government agency, will discuss Medicare C, touching on Part D. Medicare’s Web site will be explored. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Please bring materials to take notes.
