Fall 2009 Potpourri Series

The Brown & Gold Club Continuing Education Committee is pleased to present to our members a wonderful series of programs. These programs have been planned by the Committee and designed with you in mind. You will explore, experience and investigate a variety of interesting topics in an informal setting. Light refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by JCCC Community Services.

Snapshot of the JCCC Floral Design Program

Diana Ryan with the JCCC Floral Design Program will present an informational session on what the program offers to students, including providing in-depth knowledge and hands-on applications of floral design using silk and dried materials. Also included in this class is a tour of the JCCC Greenhouse. Class size is limited.

Here’s your chance to learn more about the internationally successful JCCC Culinary Team. We’ll begin in room CC 211 with Dean Lindy Robinson who will tell us about the culinary team, how they prepare for competition and the criteria for success. Following her presentation, we will walk the short distance to OCB to see food that has been prepared for judging for a regional competition in progress. Class size is limited.
