About the CavCard

The CavCard is a pre-paid stored value, declining balance account that can be used in the Bookstore, C-Store, Food Court, Dining Down Under, javajazz@jccc, Encore!Espresso, Café Tempo and selected vending machines at JCCC. The CavCard also makes a great gift for friends, co-workers & students.

The CavCard is NOT a bank card - in other words, you can’t use it to charge purchases off campus or get cash advances like you could with Visa^® or MasterCard^®. Nor is the CavCard an ATM card – you can’t use it to get cash from a bank machine. There are no cash withdrawals from CavCard accounts.

Faculty, staff, students and parents can add money to the CavCard in the form of cash or credit/debit card in amounts of $5.00 or more at any campus CavCard Deposit Center, at CavCard Online or  by calling (913) 469-8500 ext. 4537.

NOTE: CavCard Deposit Centers accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover. Checks are not accepted. Contact the CavCard office at (913) 469-8500 ext. 4537 with any special requests (multiple card purchases or special load amounts).
