The Scholars in Residence program is a venue that allows individuals representing divisions, programs or cross-disciplinary groups to propose one of a series of presentation(s) by off-campus scholars. The purpose of the Scholars in residence Program is to enrich a discipline and/or the entire college community.

program.  This program invites scholars from around the nation and world to share their work with JCCC students, faculty, staff, and the general public.  Since its beginning in 1996, dozens of presenters have spent time in residence at JCCC.

Individuals at JCCC representing divisions, programs, or cross-disciplinary groups may propose one or a series of presentations by off-campus scholars. This process involves completing an application and submitting it to the Honors Program Facilitator on or before the February 1 deadline.
