Welcome! The JCCC Veteran Services Office serves students using VA educational assistance through the Post 9/11 GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill, Reserve Edcuational Assistance Program, Dependents Educational Assistance, and VA Vocational Rehabilitation in conjunction with their enrollment at JCCC.

To have your enrollment certified to the VA for Education Benefits follow the directions for your student status:

NEW OR TRANSFER STUDENT
Download and complete the New Student Data Sheet for Veterans Educational Assistance and then contact the JCCC Veteran Services Office to obtain other required paperwork.    

CONTINUING/RETURNING JCCC STUDENT
Download, complete and submit the Veterans Recertification Worksheet after you have enrolled in your classes. This form must be submitted to the JCCC Veteran Services Office each semester.

GUEST STUDENT FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE
Request a parent school letter from your current institution’s Veterans Certifying Official. Download, complete and submit the Veterans Recertification Worksheet to the JCCC Veteran Services Office.

POST 9/11 GI BILL INFORMATION
The VA is now accepting applications for Chapter 33, the Post 9/11 GI Bill benefit: www.gibill.va.gov. Please contact the JCCC Veteran Services office for information on enrollment certification for this benefit.

MONTHLY VERIFICATION PROCESS
Chapter 30, Chapter 1606 and Chapter 1607 students must report school attendance to the Department of Veterans Affairs at the end of each month in order to receive payment. Call 1-877-823-2378 or go to the Web: WAVE (Web Automated Verification of Enrollment).

CURRENT STUDENTS CALLED TO ACTIVE DUTY
Please notify Veteran Services Office immediately and submit a copy of your orders.  You will need to follow the standard JCCC withdrawal policy for dropping your classes.

Office Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday -- 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday -- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

(NOTE: all Student Services offices will open at 10 a.m. on Thursdays)
