Career Assessments with Individual Career Counseling Interpretation

Are you interested in taking a career assessment? JCCC offers nationally recognized career assessments:

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Assessment (personality preferences)

• You will receive an 18-page report with supplemental information and a one-hour interpretation session with a professional career counselor.
• Cost is $84.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a popular personality preference assessment used by professional career counselors worldwide. The MBTI is a tool to support the counselor in relating how your personality preferences correlate with specific occupations and job satisfaction.

Strong Interest Inventory (SII) (Newly Revised Strong)(interests)

• You will receive a 19-page report with supplemental information and a one-hour interpretation session with a professional Career Counselor.
• Cost is $69.

The Newly Revised Strong Interest Inventory is a highly respected career planning instrument utilized by professional career counselors throughout the world. The SII identifies your interests based on the Holland Occupational Themes. The assessment reports your interest theme code, basic interest areas, as well as assesses your likes and dislikes with individuals in 110+ different occupations.

Scheduling an Assessment

The MBTI and SII are available online and can be accessed from any Internet site. If you do not have access to the Internet, the Community Career Services Resource Center,229CC,is available MWF 8-5 and TR 8-3. Each assessment takes 30-45 minutes to complete.
