Distance learning courses at JCCC vary. Some courses are offered for credit while others are non-credit or offered for continuing education units (CEUs). Some distance learning courses are offered online, some are delivered over cable television, some are self-paced, or video-tape based, and some use a combination of approaches. For details on specific Credit Courses use our Online Credit Course Information Guide.

  • Courses by Arrangement
    These classes are offered on a schedule of study that allows you to enroll in the class at any time during the semester and take up to one calendar year to complete class requirements.  
    Note:
    Some self-paced courses are offered online, but not all.  Check with the course instructor for details.

  • Telecourses
    Telecourse students may check out complete sets of the course videocassettes from the JCCC library or can watch on Channel 17 on the Time Warner of Overland Park cable system, on Channel 22 on the Comcast of Olathe cable system, or on Channel 17 on the Everest cable system of Johnson County.
