Service Learning
DescriptionService-learning involves students in community activities that complement their classroom studies. Every service-learning program is unique, but all aim to help students increase their academic skills through understanding how what they learn in school can be applied to the real world. Service-learning programs help students become interested in their communities and learn how they can affect the quality of life in them.(Alliance for Service Learning in Educational Reform) ContactService Learning The Service Learning Coordinator is available to faculty members who would like more information about incorporating a service-learning option in their courses.
